Where individual pupils, groups or bubbles need to self-isolate, schools are required to offer immediate remote education, that follows the same sequence of learning taking place in school. Our remote learning plan is closely linked to our in-school curriculum but uses resources such as Oak National Academy and White Rose Maths to provide instructional videos for new content.
Although we are aiming to provide a similar amount of work through our home learning curriculum as you would expect in our school curriculum, we understand that circumstances for every family will be different if required to self-isolate.
If pupils are self-isolating for a short period of time whilst they wait for a test result, they can still engage in the home learning. If they need any support with this work, please email firstname.lastname@example.org . If pupils are required to self-isolate for longer periods of time, teachers and teaching assistants will be in contact via phone and e-mail to support pupils with their learning.
